If you ask most people who know me, the first thing they’ll say is: “she’s a real nut.” Sometimes my sense of humor can make an everyday person cringe, and if I know it bothers you, I’ll do it even more. There’s a little mischievous side of me who enjoys getting a rise out of people. And when I meet someone who is like me, look out, because we can get quite rowdy.

I enjoy writing science fiction and fantasy. My imagination is one of the few places where I get very serious, where I can play outside the confines of this third dimensional space. Science and physics have become a big love for me, and I study them every minute I get a chance. I enjoy discussing my theories with my science-loving husband. Within the past five years, it’s been exciting to find many of our theories regarding subject matters such as black holes, white holes and breaking through the space-time continuum have been in line with those of most scientists.

So who am I? This being who changes and changes, but still stays the same? Halfway through my four decades of life I have done a number of different jobs, traveled to many places around the world, speak a number of languages — English, Slang, German, Bad French (enough to where they aren’t rude to me), Terrible Italian and a language I really am not sure of, nor anyone else. I am a singer/songwriter and I still write and sing with my husband. We have two daughters, Danae and Naomi, my dog, Jimi Ray Hendrix, who thinks he’s my other husband, my beta fish, Achilles and Naomi’s beta, Pinkie or Kirby or Momo, whatever name she’s chosen for it for that day.

Outside of that, my hobbies are aromatherapy, making handmade beauty products for my company, Danaomi Scents, hanging out at Renaissance Faires or with pirates, gardening (yeah, like when I used to have time), traveling and meeting new and interesting people like you.
